Gwynfryn Bed & Breakfast, Conwy

Gwynfryn is a converted Welsh Methodist chapel on one of Conwy’s cobbled streets, off Lancaster Square, a few steps from the town’s restaurants, shops and Conwy Castle, and close to the station.

Monica and Colin have run it since 2003 and kept many of the chapel’s features, including its ornate balcony and organ; one room has a four-poster bed made from church pews. Rooms are split between the Chapel House and the Chapel Vestry, there is a sheltered courtyard, and the Hidden Chapel restaurant serves a seasonal menu several evenings a week. It is 4-star rated and adults only.
