Teithiau Celticos Tours Ltd: Terms & Conditions
The reservation made by you constitutes a binding confirmed agreement between you ('the customer') and us  ('the supplier) Teithiau Celticos Tours Ltd'.recommends that you read these terms and conditions carefully and contact us if you have any queries.
 
General
These 'Terms & Conditions' together with any other written communication relating to the 'booking confirmation' shall form the basis of your contract withTeithiau Celticos Tours Ltd  (Registered in England & Wales No: 13292432).
Within these conditions 'you' and 'your' means all persons named on the booking. By making a booking the 'lead passenger' specified in the booking will be deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of all passengers named within the booking.
 
Booking Conditions.
Booking will be confirmed by you accepting the personal proposal and quotation and paying your non-refundable deposit.  You are then entering into on a binding contract and agreeing that you have the authority to accept and do so on behalf of your party these terms and conditions. You also agree to pay the balance of the tour 42 days prior to departure unless other arrangements have been agreed.
 
Booking and Payment Conditions 
 
To secure a booking we require a 25% non-refundable deposit of the full tour cost.
 
All transaction payments are to be paid in GBP (British Pounds).
 
Your booking is confirmed only when the PayPal deposit payment has been paid (we are not able to pencil in/reserve dates).
N.B. There is no need to have a PayPal account, you can pay with either credit or debit card.
 
The balance (the difference between the full cost and the deposit you have paid) is to be paid 42 days prior to the tour dates by either:
-PayPal: You will be sent a second invoice prior to the 'balance due' date; PayPal is our standard payment method. 
-Bank Transfer: If this is your preferred payment method please inform us and we will forward our banking details. Celticos will add £6 (International bank charge) to the balance invoice amount, and please note, we will not be responsible for customers' banking charges.  
  
The balance (the difference between the full cost and the deposit you have paid) is to be paid 42 days prior to the tour dates by either PayPal or Bank transfer as set out above. 
 
If you book within the 42 days prior to a tour, you will be required to pay the full tour price to confirm the booking, i.e. deposit & balance.
 
Rate Quote Inclusions
All of our tours include pick up and drop off at your designated hotel/accommodation (by prior agreement at the time of booking) or other pre-agreed destination, e.g. railway station.
 
Rate Quote Exclusions
Entrance fees to attractions, personal travel insurance, food and beverages are not included in the tour price unless expressively stated in the tour description.  ‘the supplier Teithiau Celticos Tours Ltd’ reserves the right to refuse ‘the customer’ any changes to the agreed itinerary including ‘add-on journeys or additional mileage’ unless previously agreed with ‘the supplier’. ‘The supplier’ also reserves the right to charge for any additions to the agreed services.
 
Cancellation by You 'The customer'.
If you wish to cancel your booking after your tour has been confirmed by us and deposit received, you will need to email / write to us as soon as possible. The effective date of cancellation will be the date upon which we receive such written confirmation. Please note, any refund does not include the non-refundable element of the deposit, as detailed above.
 
Travel Insurance
The company strongly recommends that passengers arrange suitable travel, medical and cancellation insurance, immediately upon paying the deposit to secure the booking.
 
Teithiau Celticos Tours Ltd does not ccept liability or obligation for any death, illness or injury to individuals caused or suffered by 'you' in relation to your vacation/holiday. We also accept 'no liability' for loss or damage to personal property or luggage. 
 
Customer Refunds:                                                                                                    
Less than 14 days prior to the commencement of the tour, no refund will be issued
15-42 days prior to travel, 50% refund of the 'balance payment' will be issued
43 days and over prior to travel, 100% refund of the 'balance payment' (if already paid) will be issued.                        
Please note, any refund does not include the non-refundable element of the deposit.
 
Cancellation by Us 'The Supplier'. 
We will only cancel tours due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control which might jeopardise your safety, e.g. civil unrest, strikes, road closures, adverse weather conditions. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at our own discretion and we will always refund you, in full including the deposit paid by you the customer.
 
 
Breakdown & Delays.
We 'the supplier' plan journey times allowing for minor delays. However, we cannot be responsible for unforeseen traffic congestion or other events beyond our reasonable control including vehicle breakdown, accidents etc. 'The supplier' will not be liable for inconvenience or loss caused to you 'the customer'.
 
Disclaimer.
Teithiau Celticos Tours Ltd cannot be held responsible for any accidental injury or damage to persons or their belongings while away from the vehicle. This includes photographic stops on route and any walks away from the vehicle whilst visiting sites whether accompanied or non-accompanied by Celticos personnel. It is the customer’s overall responsibility to ensure that you are physically able and suitably equipped to participate in any chosen walks or visits.
 
Vehicle Insurance.
Both of our vehicles carry ‘full comprehensive’ insurance which covers both the vehicle and passengers while hired for touring. '

Passenger's Property & Luggage.
'The Customer’ must inform ‘The Supplier’ about the number of articles (cases etc) the size and weight that will be required to accompany the travelling customers. Although every care will be taken to ensure the safe-keeping of personal property, ‘The Supplier’ cannot accept liability for any losses.
 
Other Operators / Carriers
‘The Supplier’ will not accept or have any liability for any acts or omissions whether negligent or otherwise of any attraction or person providing services in connection with any tour unless such a person is employed by or under the direct control of ‘The Supplier’.
 
Passenger Conduct & refusal of travel.
Safety of the travelling customer is the major consideration of ‘the Supplier’ and if this influenced by the behaviour by one or more of ‘the Customer’ we reserve the right to remove any passengers. ‘The Customer’ is responsible for any no accidental damage caused to the vehicle by any passengers for the duration of the tour/hire.  
 
Our Liability.
Some aspects of your tour experience may be provided by independent suppliers, who provide such products and services on the basis of their own terms and conditions. In particular, tickets for travel on other carriers are subject to the normal conditions of carriage of the individual carrier.  Teithiau Celticos Tours Ltd will not accept or have any liability for any acts or omissions (whether negligent or otherwise) of any supplier or person providing services in connection with any tour unless such a person is employed by or under the direct control of the Company.  
 
Smoking.
Smoking is not permitted on our vehicle but there are frequent stops en route for passengers who wish to smoke.
 
Medical Information & Disabilities.
Please make us aware of any medical conditions, physical or mental disabilities of you ‘The Customer’ prior to accepting the booking terms. Your comfort and safety are of prime importance to us at all times. We aim to ensure that the vehicle used offers the maximum comfort for you and that we can accommodate your specific group, and your luggage, at the beginning and end of any tour. Accordingly, please let us know whether there are any matters that we should be aware of, including medical, dietary and other personal matters.
 
Refreshments & Alcoholic drinks.
As a general rule food and drink (including alcohol beverages) may not be consumed in the vehicle. There are exceptions but not without prior consent.
 
Animals.
We do not normally permit animals but guide dogs and other circumstances may be considered. Please inquire about this at the time of making your booking enquiry.
 
Our policy regarding children.
Children over 12 years old are welcomed on our private tours but please contact Celticos prior to booking as not all tours are suitable for children. We are not able to accommodate infants and babies.  The law requires all children travelling in the front or rear seat of any car, van or goods vehicle must use the correct child car seat until they are either 135 cm in height or 12 years old (whichever they reach first). After this, they must use an adult seat belt.
Please inquire about this at the time of making your booking enquiry.
 
Complaints.
‘The Supplier’ aim is to provide the best possible service and achieve the total expectations of the ‘The Customer’. However, in the event the day tour is not meeting expectation ‘The Customer’ should speak to ‘The Supplier’ and seek a solution at the time. If a remedy has not been provided, complaints should be submitted in writing to the ‘The Supplier within 14 days of termination time of hire.
 
Data Protection.
In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly, we will need to use the personal information which you provide to us (such as your name, address, contact details, any special requirements etc). We may also use the information provided to keep in touch with you and to advise you of the Company’s products and services (including special offers) from time to time. In addition, we may be required to pass this information on to third parties (such as accommodation providers or other suppliers relevant to your booking). We will not, however, pass your information on to anyone who is not involved in providing (or arranging the provision of) any product or service related to your booking. Where you provide us with personal details such as those mentioned above, we are entitled to assume that you do not object to us using or disclosing your information for the purposes mentioned above, unless you advise us otherwise in writing. You are entitled to see a copy of your information which is held by us – please contact us if you would like to see this.
 
Celticos is committed to high standards of information security, privacy and transparency. We place a high priority on protecting and managing data in accordance with accepted standards. The company comply with applicable GDPR regulations which were implemented in May 2018, including as a data processor, while also working closely with our customers and partners to meet contractual obligations for our procedures, protocols and services.
 
Force Majeure.
"The Company” does not accept any liability for any loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, the threat of war, riot or civil commotion, terrorist or criminal activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fires, sickness, weather conditions, road or traffic conditions, temporary technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within booked accommodation or transport, explosion of, or radioactive contamination from, any nuclear facility or other events beyond the control of “the Company”.
 
Multi-day tours accommodation.
Teithiau Celticos Tours Ltd will help plan, support and offer advice regarding accommodation requirements on ‘Multi-Day’ and ‘All Wales’ Tours but stress that the contract is between the accommodation provider and the customer. 
 
Customers staying at accommodation provided by Airbnb or similar agents
Some properties provided by these organisations are in remote areas and very difficult for us to find. Even in built up areas these properties are in locations which are difficult to find. Providing us with a house name or number, road name and postcode is not adequate information as past experience as shown us the house name or number is missing or impossible to see.
Please note, if booking a tour with Celticos it is your (clients booking a tour) responsibility to provide us with accurate directions on how to find the property that you are staying at. We cannot be held responsible for not finding the property if you have not provided us with this information.

The booking process

Once you’ve sent us your message, this is the process:

1. We will confirm if your requested date(s) are available and/or respond to your initial questions.
2. Following our response, if you wish to proceed further with your enquiry we can discuss and plan your specific tour requirements in more detail.
3. Once you are happy with our plans we will then send you our quotation (Total tour price and deposit amount) for you to review. 
4. On our receipt of the deposit, you will receive an email from us confirming and securing your booking.
