1. Do you operate throughout the year? 
Private Guided Tours are generally available throughout the year. We do have holidays when we are not available and special days such as Christmas Day etc.   
 
2. What is the best way to contact you?  
Please use the ‘Contact us’ enquiry form which is at the foot of every page. We will get back to you as soon as we can access our email. 
 
3. Are children allowed?   
Children over 12 years old are welcomed on our private tours but please contact Celticos prior to booking as not all tours are suitable for children. We are not able to accommodate infants and babies.
 
4. Are there any extra charges?
There are no extra charges payable to Celticos. However, you may choose to visit museums or castles, etc., as part of your tour. All admissions costs will be payable by the customer at the point of entry to the attraction.
 
5. How long do the day tours last for?
The tours generally start around 9.15 am from the pickup destination and will then return at approximately 5.15 pm. Flexibility on times can be offered.
 
6. How much walking is involved?
As much or as little as you want.
 
7. Do we need any special equipment in order to participate?
Adequate walking shoes are recommended and showerproof clothing should be considered.
 
8. What happens if we have adverse weather, will the tour be cancelled?
Your safety and comfort are a major consideration for us. Accordingly, we do reserve the right to modify our routes in order to ensure this. Please note we have never had to cancel a tour due to adverse weather.
 
9. Do you offer a Day Tour to Snowdonia from Cardiff?
This is not possible as we are based in Snowdonia, which is four and a half hours drive away from Cardiff. We can, however, offer All Wales multi-day tours which can include visiting Snowdonia and Cardiff, etc.
 
10. Do you offer tours which I can book with other individuals or can I join a group which have already booked?
We do not provide this type of service. As our website shows, all of our tours are private tours. However, we are pleased to accept bookings from small groups travelling together. 
 
11. How many people can you take on a tour?
Our vehicles vary in size from 8 to 4 passengers; what is available is dependent on existing bookings, and whether we need to transport baggage between locations. Our Vehicles
 
12. How do I book a tour?
Please use the contact us form with your enquiry and then we’ll reply with the details you need to know.  Please see the information section for payment and Terms and Conditions. 
 
13. Where do your tours start and finish?
As the tours are all private tours, they will start at the location that you choose. This could include your accommodation, a railway station or any other point you choose as long as it is the Snowdonia and Anglesey region. We can pick up further afield but this may incur an extra charge.
 
14. Do you provide tours for cruise passengers docking at Holyhead port?
Yes, we can provide a service, subject to availability and our terms and conditions, including booking/cancellation procedure, as with those for our general tour programme. We recommend that you enquire well in advance as cruise landings are often in the peak holiday season.  As you know, the limitations of your shore time will impact on the scope of the tour chosen. You can choose from our range of tours or we can create a bespoke tour for you. 
 
15. How many days do we need to see Wales?
Although Wales is a small country, it takes a great deal of time to travel around, especially from north to south of the country.  Please visit the All Wales Tours section of our website which has a great deal of information to help you plan. If you have only a few days to allocate, please consider a North Wales multi-day tour.
 
16. How do we arrange/book our accommodation while in Wales

17. Do you only offer tours in Wales?
Although we do not offer U.K wide tours, we can include visiting venues in England as part of our Multi-Day and All Wales Tours.

The booking process

The booking process

Once you’ve sent us your message, this is the process:

1. We will confirm if your requested date(s) are available and/or respond to your initial questions.
2. Following our response, if you wish to proceed further with your enquiry we can discuss and plan your specific tour requirements in more detail.
3. Once you are happy with our plans we will then send you our quotation (Total tour price and deposit amount) for you to review. 
4. On our receipt of the deposit, you will receive an email from us confirming and securing your booking.
