Responsible Tourism Participation
We would love to hear from you if you are an interested individual, organisation or business, who feels they can contribute and work in partnership to create holiday offerings which give added value to the experience and enjoyment of the tourist with an emphasis on the “Living Culture” within North Wales.
We would be interested in collaborating with the following types of businesses/events:
• Demonstration of small cottage industries
• Cultural events, especially “Living Culture”
• Local food and drink production
• Specific regional events
• Local history and culture
• Local music and art
• Accommodation with specific character and interest
These are just a few examples. We value your input and would love to share ideas, information and suggestions relating to Responsible Tourism in North Wales, please contact: Alwyn Griffith.
Good environmental management is at the heart of Responsible Tourism and so we will only work with businesses who can demonstrate that they are taking action to minimise the impacts of their business activities on the environment. If you would like more information on running an environmentally friendly tourism business in North Wales contact Emma Edwards-Jones, Green Snowdonia Project co-ordinator or go to www.green-snowdonia.co.uk.
