Introduction to Foraging weekend (Ref. FOR 01)
Introduction
Celticos offers you the wonderful opportunity to spend the weekend in the picturesque setting of Caernarforn, North Wales, learning and developing the skills used in foraging for food, and also getting to know the local community.
The weekend course takes place at the Celtic Royal Hotel www.celtic-royal.co.uk in Caernarforn and is open to residential and for non-residential guests . This hotel has been selected by Celticos for its excellent facilities that will guarantee you a pleasurable and memorable stay.
Our experienced trainers will impart their expertise and provide you with a wealth of valuable knowledge in a series of:

All the above activities have been crafted to ensure that you learn and have fun at the same time. Marcus Harrison
With more than 35 years experience in wild foods, Marcus Harrison is one of the UK’s top wild food specialists; his Wild Food School courses catering for everyone from first timers and novices looking to get their first steps on the wild food ladder, to cutting-edge chefs looking for inspired culinary twists, to survival professionals. With his knowledge and experience Marcus has not only written extensively about wild foods but is often consulted by media organisations, most recently by The National Geographic magazine. Who is this for?
Novices or individuals with limited experience of foraging.
What does the course entail?
Over the weekend, a few short walks, accompanied by the guides, will take place in order to introduce some practical elements of foraging.
What should I bring?
It is essential that you and have suitable and comfortable walking footwear. In addition you should bring other essential walking equipment such as a rucksack, water, waterproof jacket etc
